Home to many traditional Argentine families, Plaza San Martin was the original birthplace for the city’s high society and privileged. Named after the Argentinean Liberator San Martin, the neighborhood evokes the feeling of grandeur. Plaza San Martin is located in the “Retiro” neighborhood and is conveniently close to downtown, making it a perfect choice for those that want to stay within walking distance of the government buildings and famous sites like Florida street and Tortoni’s cafe.

Plaza San MartinThe plaza became the preferred surroundings for some of Argentina's wealthiest landowners around 1900. Three architecturally significant mansions facing the plaza surviving today were the Beaux Arts San Martín Palace (today the ceremonial annex of the Foreign Ministry), the Second Empire Paz Palace (today the Military Officers' Association) and theNeogothic Haedo palace (today the Secretariat of Environmental Policy).
Galerias PacificoGalerías Pacífico is a shopping mall located on the famous Florida Street. This Beaux Arts building was designed by the architects Emilio Agrelo and Roland Le Vacher. The building was modelled after Le Bon Marche in Paris.
Palacio BaroloPalacio Barolo has interesting significance to Buenos Aires. Dante’s Divine Comedy served as inspiration for Italian architect Mario Palanti’s Ecletic-style masterpiece which was completed in 1923. The 22 floors are divided into sections; the basement and ground floor represent “hell,” floors 1-14 represent “purgatory” and floors 15-22 represent “heaven.”
Torre MonumentalThis Elizabethan-style clock tower, which some call the Argentine Big Ben, was a gift from the British community of Buenos Aires after building the nearby Retiro railroad station complex.

I had a most enjoyable stay at this apartment in Buenos Aires. The whole process was smooth, seamless and effortless on my part. Your team thought about everything and made me feel right at home. There a couple of other people from my company that used a different company to rent an apartment and they were envious of me because I had everything I needed. From the cell phone to the apartment guide thought told me how to use and everything in the apartment. One of my colleagues waited 30 minutes outside of her apartment in the pouring rain trying to hail a taxi, I asked her why should did not just call a taxi she said did not know how to speak Spanish and did not know how to order a taxi. I told at my apartment this was covered in the guide in my apartment exactly what to do and how to say it. You guys thought of everything. I will most definitely recommend apartmentsBA to my colleagues when we are in Buenos Aires. Thanks again making me feel at home in Buenos Aires.
